Green Terrace - WELCOME TO OUR FARM

We’re an agribusiness focussed on primary crop farming. We farm high value vegetable crops and supply to leading retailers, food processors and fresh produce markets across South Africa.

Green Terrace was established in 2016 farming on 2 hectares and has since grown to farming on 7 hectares of open land, 10 green houses and 10 shade net structures.

We adopt strict and high standard farming techniques that ensure and guarantee quality produce for the consumer market, and we consult technical experts on all the relative aspects of crop farming right from the inception of soil and water testing, crop production planning, acceptable growing and harvesting methods, packaging and delivery standards required.

Sustainable

We farm sustainably by ensuring that we receive the best yields possible from our plants using minimal natural resources. This is made possible by the existing structures on our farm.

Intensive

Farming intensively for us means that we are able to produce twice the amount of tons/kg on a piece of land than we would have done on additional land. We turn our crops much quicker adding more planting cycles into the year than traditional farming methods.

Agriculture

Agri is our way of life. We value agriculture because it helps us create more sustainable jobs for the people living in our neighbouring communities and by increasing our production output, we are able to contribute towards the fight against food scarcity.
